THE FRIENDS OF BOSTON MANOR ARE A VOLUNTARY GROUP WHO AIM TO IMPROVE THE AMENITIES WITHIN BOSTON MANOR PARK
The Friends of Boston Manor was formed in 2003 by members of the local community concerned by the threat of reduced investment in Boston Manor Park, Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 9JX.
In 2011 The Friends of Boston Manor became a Company Limited by Guarantee and in 2016 will seek charitable status. All funds raised are re-invested into the park and environs thus fulfilling its aims and objectives.
Working with its volunteers alongside the land managers employed by Hounslow Council, the park has gone from strength to strength and has won 11 consecutive Green Flag Awards.
A COMMUNITY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
In August 2016, with the help of TFL Apprentices, Blue Sky Charity and materials from local building company Rudridge, we were successful in replacing the 25 year old steps and were able to add drainage pipes which has made the whole area more accessible.
